Renowned Indian Sculptor & Art Visionary
With more than three decades of artistic excellence, Laxman Vyas has created monumental sculptures, temple masterpieces, heritage landmarks, and custom artworks admired across India and internationally. His work beautifully blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary artistic vision.
Laxman Vyas specializes in sculpture, working with diverse mediums such as stone, metal, and wood. His works often depict Hindu deities, mythological themes, and cultural motifs, blending classical techniques with modern aesthetics.
Beyond his artistic practice, Vyas has played a pivotal role in shaping Rajasthan’s art landscape. He served as the Chairman of the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi (Rajasthan State Academy of Art), where he worked tirelessly to promote emerging artists, organize exhibitions, and preserve traditional Indian art forms. His leadership helped bring greater recognition to regional artists and fostered a vibrant cultural environment.
He has made Nohar art style recognized at national and international level through his art. He also played a role in the construction of the Ashoka Pillar installed at the Parliament House recently. Apart from this, statues of many great men, freedom fighters and politicians made by Laxman Vyas have been installed in the country and abroad.






He has participated in numerous exhibitions – Sculpture at MF Hussain international museum Qatar, Elephant sculpture at Indira Gandhi airport, Indira Gandhi statue at Bikaner, BR Ambedkar statue at Jodhpur, Peacock sculpture at peacock garden in Jaipur, etc.
His sculptures are displayed internationally, including in Qatar, and he is currently executing major public art projects in collaboration with the Governments of Chhattisgarh and Sikkim, besides working on international commissions.
He has received several awards for his works: Student Exhibition By “Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi” (2001); Scholarship by “Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi” (1997-1980); Award At ‘KALA MELA’ “Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy” (1998-99); “SATYA SHANTI SAMMAN” At Jaipur, Rajasthan (2009); Award From “SIR SAWAI MAN SINGH” II TRUST At Jaipur, Rajasthan (2016); National Award By ‘AKHIL BHARTIYA BRAHMAN VIBHUTI SAMMAN’ Jaipur, Rajasthan (2014); ‘BRAHMAN RATTAN’ By Rajasthan Brahman Mahasabha (2015); ‘PUSHKARNA BRAHMAN SAMMAN’ At Bikaner (2013).
He has been awarded BY Many State Chief Ministers Of India & Central Ministers of Indian Government, State Ministers By State Government.
He has crafted a magnificent Ashoka Pillar (Ashoka Stambha) for India’s New Parliament Building. This pillar symbolizes India’s democratic ethos and civilizational heritage, blending ancient artistry with modern significance.
He created a majestic elephant sculpture installed at Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 3 (New Delhi), serving as a grand artistic welcome to international travelers. This masterpiece blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary public art sensibilities.
He created magnificent sculptures at Pratap Gaurav Kendra, Udaipur, a cultural center dedicated to Maharana Pratap and Rajput heritage. His works celebrate Rajasthan’s martial pride and historical legacy through masterful artistry.
Laxman Vyas continues to inspire young sculptors and artists through his dedication to Indian heritage and contemporary sculpting.
